He did everything to help that team win games. Rebounded, assists, backdoor cuts, blocked shots. To me, when you have guys like Jerome James on the Knicks in the league, this man deserves to be in the league.<br/><br/>Someone who is going to do whatever it takes to help the team win. I see Smush Parker get another deal and I realize the NBA is a fraternity but at some point, these guys need to realize that some of these D-League players can actually play. <br/><br/>Powell is not out there blogging every day like some players. He is putting in the work and it is paying off. It will be a shame if he isn't on an NBA roster next year. He'd be a great fit in San Antonio, since their wings (Barry, Bowen and Finley) are aging so rapidly.<br/><br/>I am rooting for you Kasib. I hope you play another 5-7 years (or beyond).
