#6 Do you know where the Cavs rank defensively this year? Do you know what team defended the 3 better than any other this year?

Im not sure where the hate on Z and Mo comes from either. Ilgauskas is a starter because he fills the role he needs to. If youre inferring that the dude isn’t talented…I dont know what to say for that. He’s not a traditional center, but hes not called on to be.

Mo Williams is a scorer, and thats all the Cavs need him to be. A guy to take the pressure off LeBron, and fill it up when 23 is on the bench. Thats IT. Are you saying Mo wouldn’t start for any other team in the league?

All the prognosticators thought the Celtics would get WIPED by the Magic, and by all accounts they should have.

Lets not play the “Orlando against the World” card, because it just wont fly in this situation.

wow man, you get really worked up about some teams and create these incredibly vivid mental images of teams that, unfortunately, may not always hold true.

you are really blowing up the cavs, saying that their defense can stop any offense, that they will “have their cake, eat it and go back for seconds” against the magic. really? this is a team that fields Z and Mo Williams as starters.

all the prognosticators were doin the same shit with the Celtics last round … magic just gotta prove em wrong again … people don’t realize that the magic have the one player in the league who can stop lebron from getting to the rim

I think Justin N. saw the word “Lakers,” assumed Matt wrote this and then stopped reading.

(PS: it IS “Roberto,” right? My other guess was “Robin.”)

The Lakers will not win 2009 NBA championship. And they will not win for the reason’s you say they will. They are not the most talented team. The team with the best 7-8 man rotation will win. That team is the Cavs.

Though if you guys at HP keep complaining about how the Lakers are undeserving champions and how much Stern loves them, I’m gonna stop reading. Seriously, its worse than complaining about the refs.
