I enjoy these types of recaps - spot on analysis.

Is there a reason you've been relatively silent on the WCF though?

I still don't understand how when a team that shot 38% from three for 82 games suddenly starts shooting 43%, that's not considered hot. Over one game, that's not hot. Over 4 games, that's pretty damn hot. Of course Orlando can shoot better from 3. But it's by no means the norm for them to do so.

The Magic shot better than 42.8% (their series average thus far) 25 times this year. The Cavs exceeded it 28 times.

You say we Cavs fans/writers aren't respecting the Magic. That's just not true. Some of us said going into this series that we didn't like this matchup. I expressed PLENTY of concern about facing the Magic. We just feel that if our team shot 5% above the norm over the last 4 games that this series would look a little different. Heck, if the Cavs shot even just 5% below their norm (as opposed to the 13% below it they're currently shooting) then this series would look a lot different.

So what does this all mean for the Van Gundy good coach/bad coach debate?

Hedo and the Magic can pass much to well and are way too unselfish for LeBron and the Cavs to go chasing Hedo ... trying to push him away from the basket on those high pick and rolls ... only opens up the floor for Orlando.
