Zach, good work as always. Even though you say this isn’t your best work, it’s better than a lot of shit I’ve been reading lately. I read this sentence “Their mom/salary cap situation was completely banged/ruined because of petty and shrewd business moves,” with only mom and banged and completely ignored salary cap and ruined and it turned out to be one of the most hilarious sentences I’ve ever read.

By the way, I see you are still big on Oden being an all-star. Does this mean you are planning on drafting Oden in the 5th round in our fantasy league again this year?

MC, I’m one of the few remaining non-Blazers fans that thinks Greg Oden is a sure-fire perennial All-Star still. I have faith in him as a complete game-changer. Perhaps, an explanation of this will be the next post on here.

Well, Pryz is about to turn 30 so he’s young-ish compared to Kevin Willis. But in terms of dynamic, I think you could make an argument that his shot-blocking and rebounding are dynamic-esque most times.

I honestly think they frontloaded the Millsap contract because it ensured the Jazz will unload Boozer now this season. If the Jazz decided it was too rich for them, then the Blazers end up with a good 6th Man and a contract that isn’t bad for them because Paul Allen owns Oregon. And if the Jazz did match, they wouldn’t be able to handle that luxury tax payment in this economic economy so they unload Boozer for 70 cents on the dollar, earn a trade exception, and take themselves out of any lingering thought of contending in the West this year. They still make the playoffs but they don’t have enough frontcourt depth to challenge anybody.

Did you just call Przybilla ‘young and dynamic’?

Even though Miles wasn’t attempting to get in shape (at all) when he was on the Blazers, it was still a cut-throat move to declare him unfit and try to ruin his career. I’m a Blazer fan but they deserve what they got with that situation.

On Millsap, I really do think they wanted to sign him, otherwise they wouldn’t have frontloaded all that cash, right? That’s a pretty expensive bluff.
