As a Celtics fan, I still can't understand why Danny Ainge & Doc Rivers decided to let go of Leon Powe and sign Shelden Williams, instead. I mean, Powe is much better than Williams, even during their college days. Williams, at his best, could become a Ben Wallace of sorts, but Powe's potential is more likely a Shawn Kemp. Don't you think so?

The defense sufferd bad with out kg patroling the middle. The offense was stimied by his absensce. Baskets became harder to obtain. Wallace helps with the possible injuries garnet may have this yeAr. Wallace has postup abilities and three point range. So fortune have it Kg stays healthy, Wallace become even a bigger threat off the bench. Wallace isn't a KG but he gives you a generic version with deep range. I love KG and all he brings to the table...chest thumps and all the mf bombs. We got real comfortable with him on the floor. Things were easy. And when he went down it took awhile to accept it move on and try to find offense and defense the hard way...with out KG. Resigning BBD and the aqusition of daniels and Wallace gives us versitility we didn't have last year. I can't wIt to see the line ups of the second unit. We could have answers to all the match up issues we had last year. Will bill or j.r. be a key to our bench? I think they will have a small impact and we will see who will be a future player on the celtics...hopefully both. Closing in on my final word... let's pray TA gets shipped off some where anywhere! Scal I love your heart but your over paid and an expiring contract hope to see u gone as well.
Leon powe....I'm glad to see that u will have work. Guarantee celtics fans cheer for your every visit to the gardens....(I'll allways call it that) we will all miss you.

"...I’m well aware that Garnett’s heart doesn’t vouge for the rest of his body’s welfare..." Vouge? Had to look it up to make sure I wasn't missing something. A vouge is a weapon. I'm pretty sure you meant vouch. FYI.

Hmmmm, so you like the Vince Carter addition, eh? I don't see VC and Van Gundy working out. Oil and water.

I agree that Boston's done waaaaaay more right this offseason than last. And they finally ditched Shi*bury, which is the equivalent of adding two good players to the roster.

Is Daniels a done deal? If so, he's a nice piece, for sure. He was a big reason that Avery's Dallas team made the Finals a few years back.
