[...] That’s not even a real integer in basketball . And if it is, I feel like it’s something that Chris Paul manufactured in order to impress us – like the pick-and-roll alley-oop or Tyson Chandler’s acceptance. And now, he’ll be out for one to two weeks with a sprained left … But hey, at least the shooting specialist they drafted out of North Carolina is making one-third of his shots and less than 30% of his threes this year.
Jonny Flynn isnt the problem. Maybe if he had players around him like the other teams you would see what flynn could actually do. Or if Rambis was a somewhat decent coach you would see him using his players to their strengths, not running an offense that will never work with the personel he has. Dont blame flynn. jennings and evans all said jonny flynn is the toughest player theyve gone up against. Put some players around him, run a pick and roll offense and you'll turn your attitude about him right around. It boggles my mind how people can hate on flynn when he has absolutely nothing to work with and a coach who wont adapt to his players strengths. I was really mad when flynn went to minnesota because i knew he was put in the worst situation out of any player in the draft. minnesota is a joke, they are by far the worst team in the nba and theyt are not going to get any better until rambis learns to adapt and they get some players in there. The fact that flynn is still putting up the numbers he is should be a reason for you to see what kind of player this kid is going to be instead of hating on the kid. he was the best pg in the draft. Why do you think rubio stayed in spain? he knew he wasnt going to out play flynn for the starting role. Learn something.

I was at that Clippers game. Awful. Just awful. Every fan in red and blue walked out of that arena with their soul sucked out of them. Blake Griffin needs to get back ASAP.

I like Oden, but calling that the same thing is like saying that a child being unsteady on his bicycle and a dude crashing a car at 60 mph are the same thing.

Anyone else think that Ty Lawson is going to be actually good? Like a few All-Star games, semi-regular double-doubles, second-tier of point guards in the league good?

Excellent post as usual. Regarding Oden, I think his offense will come once he learns to get his feet set before going up. Remember when Shaq came to LA from Orlando and Phil had to teach him to gather himself before going up? Same thing.
