Dime: It was a crazy summer for you as far as you getting traded four times. Was it tough on you?
Quentin Richardson: Not really. To be honest with you man I was really lighthearted about everything because in the grand scheme of things I knew the whole time I was okay. Regardless of what was going on. With the way the economy is, I don’t really have any of those problems. If me not knowing what team I’m going to is my biggest problem, that’s nothing. A lot of people worldwide are a lot worse off.
Quentinn Richardson has become one of my favorite NBA players. When he was getting tossed around and everyone was making cracks about him, the entire time he was just like “Okay, whatever, just let me know so I can pack.” I love that attitude. And for him to reflect on the economy, that’s just fantastic. He may not be a great player, but he’s working hard, not dominating the ball and just trying to play basketball. And I appreciate that.
He also talks about Chicago and how strong a connection he has to there. And how close he is with Wade. In Wade’s contract year. When Chicago has boatloads of money to spend.
Just sayin’.
