It was as bad as it gets, everybody. If you missed it, a. you lucky bastard and b. even the ridiculous score can’t do justice to the sheer ass-pillaging that the Knicks suffered

via Celtics 104, Knicks 59 (or The Time I Cried Blood) – Posting and Toasting.

Two things about this post from November 30th, 2007.

  1. Knicks fans, a reminder, Nate Robinson was on this team. David Lee was on this team. Mike D’Antoni may not have you rolling in the wins yet, but please try and remember how far you’ve come. Two years ago a premier Knicks blogger used “The Time I Cried Blood” as his headline for the recap. Now you went down in OT. Progress. Slow, but steady.
  2. Celtics fans, when you ask what it is that we expect out of you this early? This is it. This is the team that won the championship. This is what it takes. And yeah, they struggled against teams, too. But they also did things like take this Knicks squad behind the barn and end them like the run piglet. Make some bacon, fellas.
