Brian Shaw will be the next Laker coach after Phil. The team will keep the triangle offense, and re-sign Pau in a couple years (perfect fit for the triangle) instead of signing Chris Paul. Why would they change their offensive philosophy during a multi-year championship run?

So, someone writes an article that says hey this coach maybe might one day work for our team, and this player liked playing for this coach so maybe one day he might leave his team and if this coach is here he could possible sign with here too, and then the internet treats it like it is a real news story?

As a Laker fan, I will admit that this very idea crossed my mind when Scott was fired, but it doesn't make sense from a money perspective. The only way it would make any sense would be as a trade for Bynum, which may very well be a wash in a couple of years, if Bynum stays healthy.

So, if that would be hell, what would this be?
