It's odd but while doing research for the piece, I noticed that power forwards have the highest FG pct from that range. And it's not a 2010 blip. They also have the best FG% around the basket too (63.9 pct) so they shouldn't get carried away and start raining from 20 feet all day. One thing to keep in mind is that PF and centers have a very high assisted rate on the long twos (around 80 pct). It's very possible that they're getting open spot up looks from guard penetration and dish outs. Guards have a much lower assisted rate suggesting they have to create their long jumpers off the dribble. Could think about this all day. Matt- Great point about the PF’s shooting many long jumpers.
