Jones is leading the league in double doubles per 48, which is an important stat. It’s usually guys who are versatile and play defense that have the best chance of being called up. They’re unlikely to be high minute guys, so when you’re out there, you better be able to do more than one thing at a time. Mike Harris is begging for a call-up. BEGGING. Unfortunately, he’s in RGV, so in the Rocket system he’s pretty low on the totem pole, especially since they’ve already brought him in to camp before and released him. Twice. It’s kind of a good system, I suppose. He’s essentially the NBA equivalent of a practice-team player for the Rockets.
Rio Grande Valley is 4-1, with several wins over the Toros. Seriously, Daryl Morey is like the basketball version of Dr. Horrible.
Alonzo Gee is awesome, the end.
