		<description>I completely agree. I&#039;ve said since months before the draft, and never backed off this, that Bayless has significantly more potential than Mayo or Westbrook.

I&#039;m not a biased fan. I&#039;ve never rooted for any team he&#039;s played on. But his fluidity, explosiveness and feel for the game are constantly evident. There&#039;s a reason he&#039;s held a PER above 18 even while rotting on the bench this season.

Combine that with the fact that the Blazers boast a shooting guard who can handle many traditional point guard duties and their two point guards are terrible in every facet of the game these days (Andre Miller, sorry. You&#039;ve fallen off. Hard.), and it&#039;s completely illogical they haven&#039;t been starting Bayless all year. Resigning Steve Blake was a major miscalculation.

Kevin Pritchard has done a lot to bring great young talent to Portland. Nate McMillan has done a mostly good job spreading the playing time on what, when healthy, is the NBA&#039;s deepest roster. Bayless somehow got lost in the shuffle.</description>
