BlockClocked Update: 12.3.09
Sorry for no update last week, kids, holidays and all. But now we’ve got a bigger sample size, so let’s see who’s been getting punked, shall we?

TOP TEN PLAYERS IN TOTAL ATTEMPTS BLOCKED, AS OF 11.17.09
| Player | Times blocked (Total) | Games Played | Blocked per40 | Percentage of all FGA Blocked |
| Carmelo Anthony | 31 | 18 | 1.90 | 8.1 |
| Rodney Stuckey | 30 | 17 | 1.86 | 10.5 |
| Gerald Wallace | 28 | 17 | 1.65 | 14.1 |
| Chris Bosh | 26 | 19 | 1.52 | 7.9 |
| Zach Randolph | 25 | 18 | 1.59 | 9.5 |
| Corey Maggette | 24 | 16 | 2.38 | 13.6 |
| David Lee | 24 | 18 | 1.61 | 10.0 |
| Gilbert Arenas | 24 | 16 | 1.67 | 8.6 |
| Brandon Jennings | 22 | 16 | 1.58 | 7.4 |
| Carlos Boozer | 22 | 17 | 1.46 | 8.9 |
Not only has Boozer been playing well in realms which actually matter, but his block ratio has gone WAY down. Meanwhile, with Melo’s percentage remaining pretty constant, he’s got a great shot at this thing. Stuckey, however, is probably good money here, too. With all the injuries the Pistons have had, he’s going to keep getting shot attempts. And while his per-40 numbers are better, his percent of FGA is not. Wallace is the reigning champ, easing back, letting the others get a lead before he storms ahead into getting rejected even more as the season goes on. And HELLLLLOOOOO, Corey Maggette! 13.6% of all FGA blocked for someone who wasn’t even on the list two weeks ago! Very impressive, Mr. Maggette. 2.38 blocked per 40? Very nice.
TOP TEN PLAYERS IN PERCENT OF ATTEMPTS BLOCKED PER 40 MINUTES, AS OF 11.17.09
| Player | Percent Blocked |
| Acie Law | 50 |
| Pops Mensa Bonsu | 38.8 |
| Shavlik Randolph | 28.6 |
| Hamed Haddadi | 25.0 |
| Shaun Livingston | 25.0 |
| Jeff Foster | 21.4 |
| Derrick Brown | 20.4 |
| Nathan Jawai | 20.4 |
| Etan Thomas | 18.2 |
| Joel Anthony | 18.2 |
Pops got picked up! He might not finish with the highest! Then again, Acie’s a guard, and if he gets any time whatsoever, he’ll end up taking a few more threes to get that sucker down. I also love that Miami has two guys in the top 10 here.
