HEY! where are the haters now of Tyreke Evans 20-5-5! @dickey simpskin Beno Udrih is not caliber starter though he is more of a back up PG. when he was at the San Antonio he backing up TP! Only the 4th player in the NBA History to avg 20-5-5 and the other was BIG-O, MJ, LBJ23 and Tyreke was an excellent man defender than Rose and Wall.

Was drose guarding him? Yeah he got eatin boooy but he still a great player just Tyreke better!!!

Sucks for Wall that the "breaking and entering" line continues to be mentioned... the facts of the case are that Wall and two friends were found in an abandoned house with no signs of forced entry. Basically they walked through an unlocked door into an abandoned and forclosed home in their neighborhood. I don't understand how this raises any questions about the kid. Charges were dropped and he performed some community service.

"The fact that the FO hasn’t traded Hinrich also indicates that Gar/Pax don’t have enough confidence in Rose; so they don’t dare trading Hinrich."

By that same token stupidity, Sacramento does not believe in Tyreke Evans because they have not traded Beno Udrih, and the Milwaukee Bucks believe Brandon Jennings is not the future because they still retain the services of Luke Ridnour.

I agree with you, Ty Evans > Rose (I don't know much about Wall, but many people said he is really. really good).

I was very impressed with Ty Evans in the games between the Bulls and Kings and throughout this season. Evans is one of the main reasons that the Kings overcame 35 pts deficits beating the Bulls. Evans has already looked better than Rose on BOTH ends of the floor, whereas Rose can’t guard anyone; he let a late-1st-round-pick PG blow pass by him at will (or a 35 well-pass-his-prime PG like Fisher shot 5 for 5). Rose is #2 reason (VDN is #1 reason) that the Bulls gave up 35 pts in that game (in the 4th Q, Rose missed multiple shots/layups (he took most shots), 3 TOs, 0 reb, 0 ast, he’s confused about how to run the offense and didn’t do much on the defense end either).

Rose gets all the hype, but he hasn’t proven anything; he hasn’t even proven that he can lead the Bulls to the playoff without Hinrich. Don’t believe it; just check the Bulls winning% last year when Rose and Ben Gordon (another vastly overrated shoot-first, defense-never guard) started at the backcourt during the period of when Hinrich was injured. During that period, the Bulls winning% was about 40%, even though these two small guards had plenty of helps from Thabo, Noce, Gooden, Hughes and Tim-T (AND a healthy Tyrus; last year team had much more depth than this year team); all of them are much better players than Pargo, Hunter, Taj, JJ, Gray; all of these players are now playing a key role (as a starter or part-time starter) in helping their respective team win games. The Bulls would not make the playoff with a 40% winning record last year.

The fact that the FO hasn’t traded Hinrich also indicates that Gar/Pax don’t have enough confidence in Rose; so they don’t dare trading Hinrich. I don’t remember any team used such a high lottery pick drafting a PG and still holds their former starting caliber PG for such a long time like a captive to prevent him from starting for another team. If Rose is that good, why does he need a starting-caliber PG to be his backup??? Do you see CP3, D-Will, TP, etc. need a starting-caliber PG as their backup? Hinrich led the team to the playoff in 3 consecutive years. Until Rose can do that without Hinrich, he is just another shoot-first, defense-lacking small guard, posting good offensive stats because he dominates the ball and shoots a lot.

Great read.

While I have forced myself to admit that Wall is a better prospect than Rose (and probably the best prospect since Wade), a few myths need to be cleared up. With Rose, Memphis utilized the DDM offense much more than UK this year (they run more pick and roll system), which encouraged more finishing at the rim than drive and kick. Also, UM suffered from a lack of good shooters. Both factored into Rose's average assist #s, to go along with the fact that CDR, Kemp and Allen all dominated the ball while on the floor with Rose.
With that said, Wall has a much better natural feel for the game and the point guard position and I fully expect him to have a classic end to 2010 and rookie season

Tyreke Evans is/was in no way shape or form a better prospect than Rose. Also that Kentucky team is way more balanced and deeper than that Memphis team with Rose, they have everything you could want. Memphis had no shooters and did not have a legit post presence on the offensive end either, Kentucky has 2. Wall is great He and Rose are close as prospects, Evans is behind.
