@Francis Stats say you're wrong about Mickael Pietrus' defense. In general, swap Pietrus in for Barnes in just about any of the 5-man units on the Magic and the DEF ratings improve. Barnes is no slouch and having him start at the 3 seems a good move, but don't knock Mickael and say his defensive rep is a myth. Some of the best defensive units come with Barnes at the 3 and Pietrus at the 2.

But, I have to agree MP's [lack of] ball movement and stepping out of bounds on the corner 3pt can be infuriating.

Burying Pietrus makes total sense to me. The belief that Pietrus is a good defender is a terrible lie perpetuated on NBA-dom when he was the only one who even tried to play defense on the Warrior teams. He's a good athlete but gambles a lot and exhibits poor footwork. On offense, he takes tons of ill-advised, poor percentage shots which will probably cause SVG to have a heart attack one of these days. He's completely frustrating. Matt Barnes is much better on both ends.

More Redick would make a lot more sense. Redick appears to be the most reliable (non-point) post-entry passer for Dwight Howard. Watching Rasheed rip the ball away on the post entries was infuriating.
