When I watch college basketball (not often, but it happens), I'm always struck by how much larger the court looks, despite it allegedly being the same physical size. The pros are just larger, faster, quicker, and flat out able to move better around the court.

One of the silver linings of the uptick in perception of institutional corruption at the collegiate level (and I'm careful to say perception--I really don't know how much of it is the truth) is that people are less likely these days to decry the lack of "purity" at the pro level. Admittedly that's me speaking as a pro-pros kind of guy.
