With Taj battling PF, Deng with a strained hamstring+calf, the Bulls just might have the worst frontcourt in the NBA. Unless Wade gets hurt or Stephen Jackson shoots up a strip club, the Bulls will be picking in the lottery. I mean what do we expect having fans literally an arm's length from the court? And how are people new to the game supposed to know the etiquette of ducking when a ball is coming at them? Are people supposed to subvert their own reflexes. How many times at baseball games do you see people behind home plate flinch when a foul ball hits the netting, and then shrug shamefacedly that they couldn't overcome their instinct of preservation? Calls were inconsistent both ways, and we know it's a Lakers home game but if you're going to give superstar calls to Kobe wait until there is a some actual contact. And the fact that a fan interfered with the ball is just ridiculous (I know it has happened in baseball and such, but this is basketball where the refs have the power to do something about it).
