The Orlando Magic are in a tough spot right now. They’ve dropped two games on their home court to the supposedly inferior Celtics, and the most dominant team of the first two rounds is soon to be facing playoff elimination. It’s not exactly impossible to come back after being down 0-2, but against a team as confident and effective as these Celtics, it may as well be.
That said, I feel as though there’s one strategy that’s been more or less untouched by Stan Van Gundy and his staff: the hex. Scoff at the supernatural if you wish, but if the Magic are going to win Game 3, they’re going to need a lot more invested in the black arts, or more specifically, much, much more of this type of free throw hex dancing:
