WITH THE NINETEENTH PICK, THE BOSTON CELTICS SELECT JAMES ANDERSON, G/F/AWESOMENESS, OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY (SPONSORED BY T-BOONE PICKENS):

You know why the Celtics take Anderson? Pierce may be re-signing, but he ain’t getting any younger. Anderson gives them an ability to hit shots, some youth, good athleticism, speed to get out in transition with Rondo, and a capable pull-up elbow jumper. If he slides this far, this is an abject steal for the Celtics, who have a younger frontcourt already and just need to fill out the wing to transition to the next phase in the franchise.

YOU’RE ON THE CLOCK, SMARTY MCTRADEDFORJEFFERSON!

Besides Perk, the youth in the Celts' frontcourt is Big Baby. He's a second-unit energy guy, not starter material. I'm a fan of the team, but I don't see this team transitioning well at all. My vision for them is to just say fk it, re-sign Allen and Pierce for two more years to play with KG, and go with the Old Timers approach. The fans won't like the DNP-injuries, and the losses that come with the ride into the sunset, but they'll love the names on their replica jerseys.

Bledsoe picked twice and Cousins not a top 3 pick. Somehow the real NBA GMs will screw up more than this.

Interesting Bledsoe was selected twice, by the same team ...
