		<description>This is one of my favorite books. The point you made about eras overlapping and players impacting future eras is right on. You don&#039;t realize how these events have ripple effects for the rest of the NBA -- why do you think there is a third ref now? -- and the rest of sports. It is crazy how this one event changed the NBA.

I think John Feinstein did a great job telling the stories of the two men involved. You really learn about the two and how the moment shaped them. And you come out realizing they were all just a victim of circumstance.</description>
