WhatIfSports.com is a sports gaming website which features free games such as simulating current and historical matchups, as well as pay games, like our SimLeague Basketball and Hoops Dynasty college basketball game. We are wholly-owned by FOX Sports Interactive.

As a Hoops Dynasty coach, users are responsible for recruiting, scheduling, allotting practice time and competing against hundreds of other coaches. Once the team hits the court, it’s the user’s job to create and adjust practice plans, game plans, and depth charts in the hopes of bringing home a national title. After the season, graduations, transfers and even players leaving early for the NBA draft, add to the challenge. Plus, based on success, users may have other schools seeking their coaching services as they work their way up to the Division I.

SimLeague Basketball offers you a chance to draft your favorite NBA players to simulate an 82-games season against other users’ teams. SimLeague basketball offers you chance to find out by being the GM and coach. Everything is under your control. Draft players under a salary cap and set depth charts.

but after about three seconds the page reverts to your homepage. What gives?

I’m not going to get into issues of religion, because that’s not what this is about. This was an issue of experience, and the experience is mine. I can’t see how an atheist could know what it’s like to be a Christian, let alone tell us how we should feel.

Ironically, you’ve done the very thing I was talking about in my post. Just like the basketball fan who says that because the Lakers have won a lot in the past, they don’t have the same right as everyone else to complain about the present, you’re saying that because of Christianity’s strong history in America, we don’t have a right to feel “persecuted” (your word, not mine) today. All without having any idea what it’s like to be a Christian. Have I told you what it’s like to be an atheist, or how you should feel about it?

Also: You would lose your wager.

This isn’t a glitch. It’s because this is not a WordPress.com blog. It is an independently hosted version of WordPress — meaning it’s installed on our own web server, and not managed or in any way connected to WordPress.com. So you’re WP.com login won’t work here… for now, at least.

We’re looking into a plugin that may allow not only WP.com users to use their WP login, but the same for Blogger and many others. I can’t make any promises, because I don’t know for sure that it will work out. But look for it, because if it does, then you can start using your WP.com login credentials.

I am sorry but this bit slightly irks me (yes i am one of THOSE sorts of atheists). Presuming you live in America, just how are Christians part of the ideological minority? Increasingly secular society? For pete’s sake man, Rev. Warren just prayed at Obama’a inauguration!! Give me a break. We just had 8 years of a president that talked openly about his beliefs and fused them with his political agenda. There is no way in hell that Christians should feel “persecuted”, but I’d be willing to wager that your pastor tells you they are.

I gotta say I’m a big fan of the site. That 44 post had me cracking up yesterday. And the Truehoop news is huge!

Me and a couple Deadspin commenters started a new basketball humor site back in October (www.lowposts.com) and we’ve been getting some pretty steady readership over the last month or so, thanks to BDL, TBL, DS, Truehoop & the like. Thought you guys might get a kick out of it. We’re still struggling to get the site off the ground, but it’s a fun struggle..
